Every Wednesday night, Kat Dawes brings NOWism out of the studio and into the room.

NOWism is a world within this one, twenty years in the making and still expanding. A sprawling universe of characters, stories, cosmic departments and metaphysical rabbit holes exploring the strange and extraordinary business of being alive.

Meet Free Will, the Reality Co-Creator. Dr NOW, Mentor of Eternity in Time. Tom Orrow, Future-Obsessed CEO of Network Next. Drew Back, CEO of Past Prime Time Media, whose entire empire runs on reruns. Professor Crastinate, Dean of Delay and Scholar of Someday. And an unruly cast of Momenterrorists, inner characters with an extraordinary talent for turning one perfectly innocent Tuesday into a psychological mini-series.

And that’s barely through the front door.

Through the characters, stories and mythology, NOWism plays with some fairly enormous subjects: attention, imagination, identity, emotion, choice, time, reality, and the curious relationship between the life happening around you and the world happening within you.

Attention is currency. Imagination is architecture. Presence is power. Humour is a portal to clarity.

Each Wednesday, Kat opens another door into the World. It might lead to a story, a character, a fable, a game, a metaphysical rabbit hole or an announcement from somewhere beyond Time and Space. No two nights need to be the same.

At the heart of it all is a question worth spending some time with:

What happens when we become fully available to the life we are already in?

Come and laugh at the strange business of being human. Notice what you’ve stopped noticing. Get curious about the moments you usually rush straight through.

Because an ordinary Wednesday night isn’t something to get through on the way to the rest of your life.
